New Christmas Parade Debuts | Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is kicking off An Old Time Christmas with something brand new this year! The all new Stars, Lights & Christmas Nights Parade debuts on opening day, Saturday, November 7, replacing the beloved Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade with a production that is twice as long, complete with new floats, costumes, characters and an original musical score.
Created with help from a designer behind long running Disney parades, this interactive “show on the go” winds through nostalgic holiday scenes. Rudolph and friends return, joined by Yukon Cornelius and the Misfit Toys, and Santa arrives high above the crowd with his team of reindeer. Little ones can even hand their Christmas letters to Santa’s elves along the route! The parade closes with trumpeters, a choir and an illuminated Nativity float celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
The parade is included with Silver Dollar City admission and runs throughout An Old Time Christmas, November 7 through January 2, alongside more than 6.5 million lights and Broadway style shows. Check the Silver Dollar City app or website for daily parade times.
