First Friday Art Walk | Downtown Springfield
The first Friday of the month means one thing in Springfield: First Friday Art Walk! Hosted by the Springfield Regional Arts Council, this free, self guided evening fills downtown with gallery openings, new exhibitions, live music, artist receptions and hands on activities. It is the perfect excuse to grab dinner downtown and spend the evening wandering from venue to venue.
This fall, Art Walk grew to include Commercial Street, so you can explore participating venues in both downtown Springfield and along C Street. Each month looks a little different, so check the Springfield Regional Arts Council website for this month’s full list of exhibitions and participating locations.
November’s Art Walk is Friday, November 6, with most venues open from 6 to 10 p.m. (hours vary by location). Admission is FREE and open to everyone.
