Gardens Aglow 2025 — A Winter Light Walk in the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden

Each winter, Gardens Aglow transforms the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park into a magical, botanical-themed light experience. With more than 225,000 twinkling lights, this family-friendly event invites visitors to explore winding garden paths, festive light displays, and seasonal atmosphere under softly glowing illumination.

Stroll the level, paved walkways that loop through the 7.5-acre garden, pause by fire pits, and enjoy treats and warm beverages from local vendors while soaking in the glow. The event supports both the Springfield Botanical Gardens and local community partners and is perfect for an evening outing, holiday photos, or simply celebrating the season with friends and family.
